and back down again

...so, a quick two nights in Tamale, either side of a daytrip to Daboya - which was worth it! I had a go at dying with indigo, and tried my hand at their strip-weaving which is narrower than kente. I was not alone either - 3 Dutch students I met at Hand in Hand joined me, so it was a fun day - despite a 4am wake up, and lots of time spent rattling down dusty red roads, on a bus that was falling apart, and which we were not 100% sure would actually come back to take us to Tamale again. I have so many photos I had to start deleting some - so time to head back to Accra so I can show you all!
