Anamabo

Going back to a couple of weekends ago, when I headed west with the family to Cape Coast, here are some shots from the same beach resort Michelle and I visited last year at Anamabo.

Jamie and I woke up early on Sunday morning and walked to the village of Anamabo, which is famous for its fisherman and also has a small fort.
It was fantastic getting some shots in the harsh morning light - since it was a Sunday there wasn't any beach fishing going on, but we saw a couple of boats being hauled in...
The boats are painted brightly with names, flags and slogans - huge things carved from a single tree-trunk that is built up with planks to make up the sides.

Jamie and Paul's favourite coconut tree look-out spot.
Lunchtime on the beautiful terrace - drinking from coconuts plucked fresh from the tree while we waited for our food.

Full moon on the sea - it was a beautiful night, and the beach was lit up with moonlight when we went for a walk to look at the stars.
